Erin Tran, Past Secretary, Farmer Vendor Board Member

Erin Tran is the proprietor of Tierra Verde Farm in Sanger, Texas. She tends flocks of ducks and chickens, milks dairy goats, keeps bees, and raises fiber animals, including sheep and llamas. She also makes goat milk soap, knits, spins, and bakes. Erin is active in community service, volunteering extensively with children and educators as a member of the Denton County Master Gardener Association and the Elm Fork Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalists.

Erin is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, where she studied international conflict resolution. Before becoming a farmer, Erin served as a mediator in Southeast Asia and contributed to peace programs in sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. She lives at Tierra Verde farm with her husband, Sondi, and her son, Dylan.

She served on the Board from 2015 to 2019.
