The Denton Community Market is excited about upcoming Fall and Holiday events! We are offering lots of opportunities to participate in community with us this October!
October Markets are October 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 at the Denton County Historical Park at Carroll and Mulberry, every Saturday 9 am – 1 pm.
October 10: Your Business, Your Goals with Tina Mims: Finances and Bookkeeping: Please join us for a workshop on finances and bookkeeping with Tina Mims, Executive Director of the Hub for Women Entrepreneurs at Texas Woman’s University.
Free for TWU students and Denton Community Market members/vendors.
$5 for faculty/staff and the public (to be collected at the door).
October 15: Harvest Day at the Denton Community Market!
Proceeds Benefit the Denton Community Market (a 501(c)(3) organization) and its Pet District.
This is a family bonding dinner event! Human guests will be served a Four-Course Farm-to-Table Dinner catered by Dorothy’s Kitchen Table, a community restaurant and sharing space. Doggy guests will be served a Four-Course Farm-to-Table Dinner catered by Carla’s Canine Concoctions, a Denton-based Homemade All Natural and Organic Dog Treat & Dog Food business.
~ All Pet Costumes Contest: show off your pet’s costume – all pets welcome!
~ Farmer patch including hay bales, pumpkins, cornstalks, wagon wheel, and Halloween decorations for your Halloween Photo Op.
~ Trick or treating at booths and Vendor booth decoration contest!
~ Day of the Dead Mask Making Booth hosted by SCRAP: Start making your mask at Market, then join the festivities at the Denton Day of the Dead Festival after! Check out our Salsa Cook Off Competition while you’re there!
