Market in May is filled with community collaborations and special Market events!

The 2018 Market season is underway and we have great events lined up for May!

May 5th: The Mayor’s Day of Concern for the Hungry Food Drive officially begins May 7th, but you can bring food donations to the Market on May 5th! Stop by the Market booth to drop off donations and learn how to make monetary donations for the Denton Hunger Coalition and Mayor’s Day of Concern.

The Mayor’s Day of Concern Food Drive is May 7 – 11: you can continue dropping off donations to Juice Lab or other locations here listed on the event page.

The Market will accept non-perishable food item donations on May 5th and May 12th.

There is only one mom and she deserves the best. Come and celebrate her day with us and make her feel like the Queen she is! Join us May 12 from 9 am to 1 pm at the Denton Community Market, where you can pamper her as she deserves.

May 19th: Denton County Farm Heritage Day at the Denton Community Market

Join us for the 2nd Annual Denton County Farm Heritage Day!

The Denton County Office of History & CultureDenton County Antique Tractor, Farm Equipment and Primitive Club, and Denton Community Market are so excited to bring back Denton County Farm Heritage Day on Saturday, May 19 from 9 AM – 1 PM at the Denton County Historical Park.

This fun, family-friendly, and educational event is FREE and open to the public during the Denton Community Market. There will be tractors on display, a kids tractor pull, a blacksmith demonstration, crafts, multi-era displays, booths from AgriLife and the Master Gardeners, and more!

The Denton County Farm Bureau will have their Mobile Learning Barn out at the event too! Come out and celebrate Denton County’s agricultural history with us.

Mayor’s Day of Concern for the Hungry Food Drive Awards Announcement at the Denton Community Market, 11 am. The Denton Hunger Coalition will have a booth with information on local food pantries and services.
