January & Market preparations for 2018!

2017 wrapped up to be a great year!

We finished the 2017 Market season with 2 wonderful Holiday Markets:

1 . The Holiday Market at the Historical Park of Denton County, November 25th

Over 100 vendors, Shop Small Saturday, Santa Claus, Victorian Holiday carolers – Vocal Magic, and a beautiful day  allowed for us all to celebrate a great Market season and enjoy the shopping, community, and activities at the Denton Community Market and around town.

2 . The Evergreen Holiday Indoor Market at the Greater Denton Arts Council, December 14th

Over 30 vendors, Santa Claus, complimentary refreshments, and Holiday cheer were found throughout at our first Evergreen Market at the Greater Denton Arts Council.

A Great Market Year for Local Food!

The Denton Community Market redeemed 911 WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers, resulting in over $5,000 in revenue for DCM farmers and farm fresh fruits and vegetables for families. We are continuing our WIC and SNAP programs in 2018 with increased promotion in order to provide low income families with access to fresh, sustainably grown foods.

Get Ready for 2018 Markets!

The Denton Community Market Vendor applications will be available for 2017 Returning Vendors on January 10th. Vendor applications will open to the public on February 1st.
